Cross and Tully's search for Else Douglas's killer takes them from the jetsetting world of international flight attendants to the world of the body beautiful. Athletes and body builders striving for perfection, the perfectly sculpted physique, at any cost. That means steroids for some. But there's one antiageing, illegal performance enhancing wonder drug they're all dying to get their hands on… When their first suspect turns up dead and Charlie Palmer, Tully's ex-partner-turned-private-eye arrives, Cross is unimpressed. He doesn't like Charlie much. But Tully does. A lot. She always did. And when their friendship turns into something more is Cross just a bit jealous? Or is there something more sinister going on? Something Charlie's not telling Tully?
