Geen beter en authentieker product van bij ons dan bier. Alleen is de Belgische biermarkt totaal verzadigd. Vooral de opmars van kleinere brouwerijen is niet te stuiten. En dat voelt ook de familie Janssens van brouwerij Hof ten Dormaal in Haacht. Papa André richtte deze kleine brouwerij op nadat hij een hersenbloeding kreeg en zijn goeddraaiend boekhoudkantoor verkocht. In de beginjaren liep de verkoop als een trein, maar ondertussen krijgen ze hun bier niet meer aan de straatstenen verkocht. En dat baart papa André grote zorgen. Nochtans is hun verhaal uniek: het is de enige brouwerij in België waar alle ingrediënten geteeld worden op een boerderij. Het zijn dus echte boer-brouwers. En dat bijzondere verhaal wordt meteen ook de inzet van de aflevering. De familie moet hun fierheid beter aan de man brengen en Kamal wil van zoon Jef een echte verkoper maken. En dat is nodig, want hij heeft een afspraak geregeld bij een van de grootste supermarkten van ons land.
