Tomakomai is Hokkaido's representative industrial and port city, but it is also a treasure house of delicious foodstuffs. In the evening, we visited a restaurant specializing in grilled fish that is popular among the locals. Fresh fish caught off the coast of Tomakomai is prepared in a unique way and served as a flavorful delicacy.
