This is the continuing story of Peyton Place.
Allison rescues Rita from hoods Joe Chernak and his pal Earl, who tell her that Kitch is leaving town. Rita confides to Allison that she feels unworthy of Norman. Later. Allison admonishes Norm for his poor treatment of Rita. David questions Rodney about his relationship with Allison. Doris sides with Kim when Allison attempts to discipline the child, but David gives Allison permission to treat Kim as she would any other unruly youngster. The incident with Allison creates tension and subsequently quarreling between Doris and David. David offers to hire Allison part-time as Kim's nanny. Julie strongly urges Betty to accept a date with Reverand Bedford, but Betty worries about her reputation as a ""bad girl"". At dinner, Betty nervously attempts to tell Reverand Bedford about her relationship with Rodney, but he eases the tension by admitting he already knows the story, and it doesn't matter.
