On YUEN’s wedding day, he and his two fellow apprentices, CHU KOT and TIN YEE, drink joyfully; CHU KOT feels no regret. DIP enters the room of the newly wedded bride and tells KING that it is KING whom CHU KOT loves. Yet he has to give her up because of the brotherhood between him and YUEN. KING hates CHU KOT more. DIP tells CHOI that KING will take revenge on CHU KOT, as women hate it most when their men push them to another in the name of humanity. DIP makes CHU KOT misunderstand that CHU, leader of a sect, has philandered her, causing trouble among CHU KOT and others. KING forces YUEN to make progress and recommend himself to the king to be the senior general in the fight against Jin. CHU KOT talks to KING privately, hoping that she will not use YUEN to act against him.
