Haruka Asahina est un lycéen de 16 ans qui participe à des courses de F4. Il est hébergé par Komaki Motors, un atelier de carrosserie situé dans la préfecture de Shizuoka qui participe régulièrement à des compétitions de F4. L'équipe est composée du propriétaire Futoshi Komaki, également mécanicien, de sa fille Mako Komaki et de Haruka Asahina. Comme il s'agit d'une petite entreprise familiale, elle ne reçoit habituellement aucun soutien de la part des grands constructeurs. Mais cela n'effraie pas Haruka qui affronte avec audace les meilleures équipes dans l'espoir de monter un jour sur le podium.
